SFKGDRD — the SFK Game Dog Pedigree Registry Database — was created with one clear purpose: to preserve, organize and make accessible the pedigree history of the American Pit Bull Terrier through a modern digital registry built with African dogs at its heart.

Founded by Oom SFK aka SFK Slayer Big Show, SFKGDRD is being developed as more than simply a collection of names and pedigrees.

It is a growing registry built around accuracy, quality, pedigree depth and the preservation of valuable bloodline information for future generations.

SFKGDRD believes that quality is more important than quantity.

Our goal is not simply to collect the largest possible number of dogs. Our focus is on building a meaningful, structured and useful pedigree database containing quality information that can be researched, preserved and understood.

This is one of the reasons SFKGDRD has a particular focus on African-based APBT.

AFRICA IS OUR PRIMARY FOCUS

Africa has its own rich history of American Pit Bull Terriers, kennels, breeders, bloodlines and individual dogs. Much of this information can be difficult to find, scattered across different records, old pedigrees, private collections and historical sources.

SFKGDRD was created to help preserve that history.

South Africa • Mozambique • Nigeria • Lesotho • Eswatini (Swaziland) • Democratic Republic of the Congo • and other African countries.

Our primary focus is the African APBT community and its pedigree history.

INTERNATIONAL BLOODLINES AS REFERENCES

SFKGDRD is not closed to international pedigrees. Dogs from outside Africa can play an important role in understanding African pedigrees and establishing historical connections between bloodlines.

International dogs are therefore included where they provide useful pedigree context and reference information. But our main effort is directed toward documenting and preserving African-based APBT and the people, kennels and bloodlines connected to them.

SFKGDRD is being developed with the belief that valuable African APBT pedigree history should not simply disappear because information was difficult to organize, difficult to find or kept in scattered records.

BETA VERSION 1.0

SFKGDRD is entering an important new stage with the launch of Beta Version 1.0 on Saturday, 26 September 2026.

The Beta represents the beginning of the public development journey of SFKGDRD. It is not the end of the project. It is the foundation on which the registry will continue to grow, improve and develop together with the community.
